About Small Business Joe

How I work, what I use, and why businesses trust me to run their automations.

HOW IT WORKS

I handle the hard part. You stay in control.

We start with a conversation, build what's worth building for you or alongside you, and I keep it running.

1

We talk

I learn how your business runs: where time gets wasted, what’s falling through the cracks, and which tasks you wish would just handle themselves.

2

I build it

I set up your automations, connect your tools, and test everything until it works reliably. You don’t need to be technical. Or, if you picked done-with-you, we build it side by side.

3

I keep it running

Tools update. Your business grows. I monitor everything, fix issues before you notice them, and improve your automations over time.

Two ways to work together

Some owners want it handled. Some want to learn it. Both work.

Done for you

MOST POPULAR

I build it, run it, and keep it working.

You tell me what’s eating your week. I set everything up, watch it, and fix anything that breaks. You just see the results.

Nothing for you to learn or manage
Live in as few as 3 days
I keep it running month to month

Best if you’re busy and just want it handled.

Done with you

We set it up together, and you run it.

We sit down, in person or on a screenshare, and build it side by side. You understand how it works and can change it yourself later.

You learn how everything works
Lower ongoing cost
I’m a call away when you’re stuck

Best if you like knowing how things work under the hood.

Not sure which fits? That's exactly what the free audit figures out.

Tools I work with every day

I use these to run my own business, so I know exactly how to connect them for yours. If it's not on this list, ask. I probably know it.

WEBSITES TOO

I also build websites the same way

The same stack I use to run my own site is what I rebuild client sites on. Next.js, Tailwind, Vercel. Modern, fast, and yours to own when it's done.

Most small business sites today live on Squarespace, Wix, or Webflow. Those platforms work fine until something goes wrong, prices climb, or you outgrow what they let you do. The site you're paying for every month was never really yours.

When I rebuild your site, you get the codebase. You can host it anywhere. You can update content yourself. You can hand it to another developer if I'm ever not available. And because it's built on a modern stack, you can plug AI features and automations into it without fighting a platform.

Why businesses work with me

You choose how involved to be

Want it fully handled? I set it up, test it, and manage it, and you just see the results. Want to learn it? We build side by side and you run it yourself. Both are normal.

What if something breaks?

I monitor your automations and fix issues before you notice them. That’s what ongoing management means.

Will this actually save me time?

Every automation is measured against real outcomes: hours saved, fewer errors, faster response times. If it’s not delivering, I adjust it until it does.

It gets better over time

Your automations aren’t set and forget. I refine them as your business grows and add new ones when you need them.

I actually know this stuff

15+ years building digital products and running operations. I run my own automations in production. I know what works.

A partner, not a project

This isn’t a one-time engagement. I’m here month after month to make sure everything keeps working and improving.

Want to see if we're a fit?

Tell me what's eating up your time, or what you'd want a new site to do. I'll let you know honestly whether I can help.

I typically respond within 2 business days.
